Mojo Radio exists for several reasons. We promote original music by artists and bands who would like to get some additional exposure. We offer an alternative to our listeners from the same old over played commercial crap. We strive to bring you 100% original music, comedy, interviews, gig announcements, links to artist pages and sites where you can purchase the music that we play directly from the artist or band.
If we ever acquire commercial licensing to play other more well known bands then most likely those tunes would be used as a filler and not as the main focus of the station. We make absolutely nothing from the artists and the bands themselves. Also, the artists and bands make nothing from us. It’s a mutual arrangement that helps the artists and bands get more exposure and helps us have an awesome station with cool music that you probably won’t find anywhere else. You can support us by listening to the station and spreading the word! If you know a cool artist or band then please tell them to email us! You can support the artists and bands that you hear on Mojo Radio by purchasing their music, merchandise and of course going to their shows to see them play live.
We would love to be able to say that an artist or band that we play got signed by a major label or that their music sales or live attendance increased due to Mojo Radio. It’s so tough to make it as a musician and over the years things only got worse and more complicated. This station is run by musicians for musicians, so we understand! We get it!
