There are 4 fireplace mantle's at the property.

 

I don't mean to tease anyone here but there are a few of us invested in this lot. As far as the mantle's and mouldings go there may ultimately be a decision to just remove these and list them on eBay unless there are some offers that make clear sense.

The 2 ornate fireplace mantle's, the one with a chariot scene and the one with a scene depicting what we believe may be Posseidon will be sold as an entire room including the mantle itself, all the decorative woodwork above the mantle and most likley all the mouldings where the walls meet the ceiling. The entire room will most likely be sold for $2,500-$3,500 per room + removal fee by our contractor or best offers over or under that by the time we need to get out which is the end of May. If no offers make clear sense we will definitely take these pieces with us!

We still have to get an accurate quote from the contractor but these rooms are both huge with many lineal feet of very high end multi-part mouldings. Pictures don't do justice to the quality and prestige of these items. I will get the approximate length of the mouldings and also try to get a video of both rooms. I think the plan is here just to remove everything now and have it ready for immediate sale. That will most likely happen by March 15th.

We have several horse stalls left with sliding doors, steel bars and tongue and groove boards. The steel bars are all rusted but can be easily cleaned with a wire brush or sand blasted. I was told by one person not to clean them because some buyers may want them like that for the patina to use in a home? Doors may have slight bow to them but most should be able to be straightened.

Not many left so for best selection now is the time because I lost a couple of numbers.

One small set of steel bars that go to the outside window (jealousy window not included but can be added for an additional $25).

There are very few exterior dutch type doors (the ones with the "X's" on them) but almost all of them have poor lower doors. Some upper doors are in worn but functional condition. These can be purchased for an additional $100 per set.

There is approximately 6,000sf (60 square) of high end slate roof shingles available in any quantity. Preferably we would like an offer from a single contractor to purchase the entire roof or at least 1/2 the roof. We will also sell individual shingles to consumers interested in them for repair or art projects.
